Like I said, I’m curious and I love people - no wonder I take a lot of portraits all year long. I shoot everybody – from the CEO to the doorman. Preparation is crucial: clever location scouting, affectionate yet professional make-up and the right lighting. But that’s not all: I honestly want to know who this person sitting in front of me is. A relaxed and trusting atmosphere is key--another reason for me to love taking portraits from dusk till dawn.
